BANNER AND AVATAR RECYCLING CENTRE

Here forum members can post old banners and avatars for the use of others who might be more technically challenged.

As users will have noticed, on Free Forum Zone, when an avatar or banner is changed, the whole of one's previous posts are affected, so older banners/avatars are no longer visible. This is a shame in so many cases because an attractive, eye-catching banner is then lost unless it's uploaded again.

So please would anyone skilled in the art of banner making post any (old or new) that they are willing to share? The same for avatars please, especially creative ones. Requests for banners etc are probably better made via direct contact, but new members might find it helpful to post them here.

Here is also the place to post/ask advice about making banners and uploading them.

I think I am going to create another banner for for me, nothing religious....It's allowed???
Flowers, ,animals, etc.....

Lupe, I believe you can make a banner on flowers or animals etc... Not everyone's avatar here is religiously themed.

So if you want to make a cactus one, or a puppy one, you'd be ok.

In fact, Pooh Bear is the obvious choice for a banner theme! But there are so many beautiful photos of our beloved Papino, that I may go on using them for a while! In the meantime, I'm going to copy some of Bood's!!!!!

I gotta thank Mary first for teaching me how to add one in the first place! Thanks Mary.

Ok, first upload the banner you want to use on a site like imageshack.us or photobucket.com. Copy the link. (make sure it begins with www.) Then you go to your "profilo" on this site. (Top right hand corner) When you get to your profile page, scroll down to see a blank white box called "Firma." Paste the link on there and add the image code.

Example:
[IMG]Yourbannerlinkhere[/IMG]

It should work. If it doesn't, you can send me a message, and I'll help you.

I must confess... the words were my mine but Mary being the creative genius that she is picked the photos and put it all together!!!
