STORIA DELLA CANZONE:
questo brano venne registrato per la prima volta da Sherman Andrus nel 1968 e venne pubblicato l’anno seguente (Impact 3019).
Anche gli Imperials la registrarono in quell’anno.

ALCUNE NOTIZIE SUL 33 GIRI “HE TOUCHED ME”:
la RCA pubblicò l’album Gospel “He touched me” nell’aprile del 1972 col numero RCA LSP-4690 e con questo LP vinse il suo secondo Grammy Award (nella categoria Best Inspirational Performance).
Le copie promozionali per i DJ avevano un adesivo bianco attaccato alla front cover con scritto i titoli delle canzoni.
“He touched me” raggiunse il 79° posto nella classifica di Billboard ove stazionò per 10 settimane.
Nel 1977 fu ripubblicato col numero RCA AFL1-4690 mentre la sua edizione in CD risale al marzo 1992 (51923-2).
